I've been neck deep in writing and editing for the past little while, but I can most certainly share with you one thing. That is the inspiration for my most recent work, which I've just finish editing this weekend.
Motorcycles - All sleek chrome and powerful machines.
There's an entire culture built around them, tattoos and all. A culture that traditionally hasn't been associated with m/m. Thus the appeal for me as a writer to incorporate motorcycles, tattoos, and the men that go with them in a realistic fashion. I've found it a great setting for a contemporary sci-fic work.
Let me just say I got some raised eyebrows when I asked someone with a motorcycle about how stable they are...
